How does the offering work?

  • Customers who participate receive savings through the downstream process.

  • The eligibility for the program is determined by the business address.

  • Participating customers will submit their invoice for reimbursement directly to Frontier Energy.

  • Reimbursement will be paid directly to the participating customer after receiving approval.

Who can become a participating customer?

Commercial Food Service equipment customers or their authorized representatives who purchase qualifying energy-efficient equipment.

How do I participate?

  • Purchase qualifying, energy-efficient commercial food service equipment and are served by AEP Texas.

  • Complete the Participation Agreement.

  • Provide the invoice documenting the eligible equipment purchased to a Frontier Energy team member.

Are inspections required?

  • To ensure that qualifying equipment is installed at eligible commercial locations within the AEP Texas service territory, Frontier Energy, the program implementer, will conduct visual inspections.

  • The inspection will consist of a representative collecting the serial number and taking a photograph of the installed equipment for which the customer has received instant savings.

  • The inspection will be scheduled directly with the customer, at the customer’s convenience, and should take about 5 minutes.
